Who can register .fr domain names?

If you cannot fulfill this requirement, we can help you registering your company/trademark in France, or we can proceed with registration to the name of our representatives in France and then make the domain available to you. Please notice that if the .com.fr domain is already registered, only its owner has the right to register the .fr. For example, if you want to register the domain abcd.fr but abcd.com.fr is already registered by someone else, then you cannot register abcd.fr (Unless you are also the owner of abcd.com.fr, both domains must have the same owner).

What are the .fr syntax rules?

The allowed characters are letters from a to z, numbers from 0 to 9 and the dash (-).
