The company element makes sense, but do you really need a trademark for a generic? In the US for example, there is a complete prohibition on trademarking "generic" terms and even something "descriptive" requires secondary meaning - Does anyone know how Colombian law works? Does anyone have experience registereing domain names in Colombia (both foreigners and natives)? Are there issues with protecting a c.om.co name?
