How about the native english speakers. How do you comprehend "visit Hawaii"? Rather in terms of an imperativ ("YOU, go and visit Hawaii, right now!") or an infinitiv ("to visit Hawaii")?
I suppose you perceive it as an imperativ but on the other hand expressions like "buy now" are often being translated as "jetzt kaufen" (="to buy now").
