Hi,

Does anybody have some information about the domain business in SINGAPORE ??? I know that Singapore is a well-developed Asian country.

Want to know about the .SG and the .COM.SG extensions

Registration rules
-Registrant must be a business organization.
-Foreign Company can register.
-Local Admin Contact required. You have the option to appoint IP Mirror as your local admin contact if you do not have one. Admin Contact has to be a registered company / business in Singapore

thank you for the info. But can you also tell me which extentension is stronger; the ".SG "or ".COM.SG "

Not sure, I know that they had first the .com.sg and later allowed the registration of .sg, so I would assume that .com.sg might be still be more common. But many registrars offer buy .sg and get .com.sg for free or other way round.

My guess would be that shorter is better....I have bought several .sg names. I think Singapore is a great market. Especially since a main language is english

generally, .SG would be better, but for now many people are still used to the .COM.SG extension, and demand for the longer .COM.SG is still higher than .SG for now. in this case, guess it will take some time for the 2LDs to catch up with the .COM.XXs
