Namescout.com just dropped .AU pricing

Namescout.com has dropped their AU pricing to be positioned as the lowest priced registrar on most TLD's. If you have names coming due for renewal might be a good idea to transfer in and renew at the low rates as transfers are free.

Where I can register .com.au domains if I'm not Australian?

You need to form a local company, then you can register .com.au domains. I think the registrars are not allowed to offer proxy services.

I didn't find any registrars that do it. Some registrars request trademark if You don't have a local company.

you must have an Australian company number ACN or Australian business number ABN to register .au domains. The only other option is a trademark registered in Australia. Registrars are not allowed to provide presence through a proxy.

Another cheap .au registrar that I use is crazydomains.com.au (they are a reseller for Aust Domains).

Current pricing is A$12.95/year (min 2 years) which is a shade below the Namescout price.
