Over the years, computers and IT have become an inextricable part of our everyday lives. Anyone who can't work a computer is likely to miss out on a lot of opportunities. Which is why DNS Belgium is working with PC Solidarity to help overcome the digital divide in Belgium. They are making a total of 9000 top-quality computers available to various Belgian associations.
In fact, this is one of the biggest programmes running to date for closing the digital gap. All of the associations involved in the social sector, as well as educational projects, can put their project forward for consideration under the scheme. The selection of the projects is being organised by the King Baudouin Foundation who appeals, as usual, to an independent jury.
