Thank you all for coming. I sincerely hope everyone gets something out of this new community. I will try and spend as much time here as possible.

As of the time of this posting, we are brand new. There will be a learning curve for us so bear with us as we improve this site and add features.

Which forums allow ads ?
ie. should for sale / trade be restricted to that forum only, or will you allow ads on the ccTLD specific sections?

For the time being we are going to be keeping all sale related posts in the "Buy / Sell / Trade" forum, keeping the individual boards open for on topic discussions.

Okay, but I've already noticed people posting domains for sale elsewhere, which is why I asked

It's going to take us a while to get used to running this thing. It's our first forum. Ray will most likely be moving the posts that violate to the appropriate forums soon.

this is a great idea, but i regret that market thread will be very long... maybe best is to make section for market place divided in WTS, WTB, etc (IMO)

Loving it. Maybe down the line we can get the forum big enough where it will support separate language sections so we can bring even more domainers to the front. Obviously not everyone speaks English.

I don't know if that will be better to run subforums in native languages. Then it will divide into sections that many would not understand. I don't know if that the goal for this forum.

BTW There's a small mistake at the top of the forum. Next to .in domain should be .hk.

We are trying to find a tool that will have a "translate this post" button integrated into the website. It'll be machine translation and not perfect but it could allow for a true global community. We are on the case and it is priority number 1 for us.

Can I recommend Google's translation tools? I don't know about every language pair (because obviously I don't know most of the languages on offer) but everything I've tried to translate back and forth has worked better than other readily available online translation tools.
