Domains have become a trade now a days and all the special occasions or famous things domain not available so easily.
People sell them to get handsome money.

I have heard the the Olympics go after any all trademark issues they can. Personally, I would be concerned about owning these names.

I wonder how many other 2016 Olympics related domain names are going to be registered until 2016 .However,I would also be concerned about owning these domain names .
