The results from the .co auctions have some good news for hacked domain names. The auctions which .co are running are where domains were applied for by more than one person in the landrush period of the registration period of the .co suffix. Where this occurred those aspiring registries are allowed to bid against each other in a closed auction. This happened with the domains Mexi.co and Chi.co.
In the closed auctions Mexi.co went for $3,000 and Chi.co for $7,110. The question is now how much would they go for in an open auction where anyone is allowed to bid, my guess is both would easily reach $xx,xxx without any problem whatsoever. . Last edited by Billbo; 09-03-2010 at 09:19 AM. |

Just noticed that Fias.co sold for $3,600 in the .co auctions, this is bacoming very good news for hacks! Again this was in a closed auction, so likely it should be valued higher if flipped into an open auction. ......
