I've been reviewing several domains that they are ortografic characters (IDN).
And I'm surprised because I saw the IDN taken and the ASCII free. Is this normal? What do you think about ASCII domains? Which have more type-in? |

I think it is the best to take both. As the registration fee is not so high for .de, it shouldn't be a problem.
I actually see more traffic on the IDN then on the ASCII domains. You have to understand, that the german keybord has the ä, ö and the ü on the keybord, and you can simply press the key to get it, thus it is more common in my opinion.

I also want to develop, but never really did develop. I have a few developed websites, but not as many I as I would like to have. I have some good ccTLDs with decent traffic and they would do nicely when developed, but I don't have the time right now. I was looking into developing a shopping portal and a travel portal using affilate programs and send relevant traffic to it. I will get it done eventually.
