I have seen some decent .DE sales in the past couple of months. The domains were sold in low-mid $X,XXX range.

But what makes me wonder is most of these sold domains didn’t have .COM version registered or just registered just after the .DE version was sold.

Is this a sign that the German market only cares and puts high values on .DE domains only even if there are major extensions still available to register?

What type of .DE domains that actually has potentials given the fact that many .DE domains sold were kind of “average” or not even a good phrase/keyword?
