Default I don't own any .fr names. Let's change that.

At the time of this post, I don't own any .fr domains. I'd like very much to change that. Hit me if you want to sell a portfolio of them.

The problem is, that you have to have a registered address in France (if you don't want to use a trustee service).

Yes, this is the problem, and this is exactly why I do not buy .fr names.

If you are really meaning to invest big in .fr names, the best way would be to set up a LLC or something like that in France - or to move to France to live there, of course, and enjoy French gastronomy too!

What is nice with French domain names is that, due to the mentioned restrictions, there are many more of them still available than .de names, where the market is really crowded.

And if you visit French-speaking domainers' forums - such as ForumNDD.com or Domaineur.com, you can often find .fr domain names for sale at really reasonable prices.

We are also interested in .fr domains. Let us know if you have any for sale.

Generics only and preferably with traffic. If you have trademark domains, you need not apply.

Especially interested in one word category killers.

Yes, I do plan on setting up a French company for this purpose.

I'm interested in .fr names too, but the restrictions have stopped me. I wish it were more like .es rules. Don't want to buy enough to make it worth setting up a French company though. Hopefully they will lift restrictions at some point.

Hello,

I am french.
The only .fr I have is Carrilllo.fr and it's my last name.
So it's sure the domain is not for sale.

In fact I have few french domains but all with the .com or.mobi extension.
I just realized I never invested in the .fr and it's probably because I have allways thought that a .com can also be used in others countries speaking french so buying the .fr your potential buyers strongly shrink.
