Thumbs up Five domain hacks now in eBay auctions

This thread is to converge information about the five seperate eBay auctions currently underway.

The five domains in auction on eBay.com are:

ChristJes.us ------------ 5 bids.... $5.25...........Ends 09/11/2010......reserve $500 - $999 range

Wiscons.in ----------- 4 bids ....$31............Ends 09/12/2010........reserve $1,000 - $2,499 range

JesusChri.st ----------- 7 bids.....$12.62..............Ends 09/13/2010........reserve $2,500 - $5,000 range

Arkans.as --------- 0 bids .... $1..............Ends 09/14/2010............reserve $1,000 - $2,499 range

Fig.ht ----------- 3 bids .....$5.50 ....................Ends 09/15/2010................reserve $2,500 - $5,000 range

Obviously at the moment the current bids are no where near the reserve ranges.

All auctions finish at 11 am PDT on their respective day.

I shall update this thread as and when anything important occurs in the auctions.

Just a quick update - Arkans.as finally gets a bid, yes the great State of Arkansas on the internet is now valued at $1.

Edit Post - Important

Just noticed that somehow the second and more important part of this post disappeared, most probably due to my clumsy fingers on the keyboard.

If the individual bids on the domains are not at least very close to the 'reserve' with 30 hours remaining in the individual auction then the individual auction shall be terminated and the domain classed as 'no longer for sale'. (Please note these are not giveaway auctions, I placed 'come-and-buy-me' reserves on each domain.)

Just to let everyone know I have this morning had to post the reserve prices for the domain hacks I have in auction on the actual listings. It was discovered that I had replied to an email requesting the 'reserve range' for one of the domains and attached the wrong attachment to my reply (I should have attached the 'reserve ranges' instead I had attached 'reserve prices').

This is an unfortunate turn of events but by posting the reserves now at least everyone is playing on a level playing field.

ChristJes.us has been withdrawn from auction on eBay due to no substantial bids having been made with less than 30 hours remaining until the end of the auction.

Wiscons.in did not sell and the highest bid was only $41.

This is a blow for the 'perceived' value of State domain hacks, a very disapointing result in itself, it is now to see whether Arkans.as on Tuesday will achieve the reserve.

Tomorrows auction is of course for JesusChri.st, so this is aimed at a different demographic and was targeted at churches, ministries, etc.. At the moment the high bid here is only $12.62.

It will be interesting to see tomorrows result.

Within 90 minutes of the Wiscons.in auction ending I received a $500 offer on Sedo, this was rejected immediately as it obviously fell well below the stated minimum required. So it would seem that although Wiscons.in only achieved a maximum of $41 in auction this is not what the value of it in the market is.
