Default .co.in or .in?

Which is better?

I have seen a bunch of solid available for .co.in and sometimes the .in is already gone.

What do you guys think is the better of the two extensions?

.in has better resell value and domainers target this one first.

co.in appears to have better type in traffic. A lot of the heavy hitters (google etc) use co.in. However, ebay uses .in.

My opinion FWIW is that inevitably .in will replace .co.in Why type three extra strokes when a simpler form is available? In linguistics it's called Zipf's Law. Shorter usually replaces longer.
