Why is co.in and net.in so underestimated????

I think, that most of you who are in the Indian forum loves the .IN. And so do I!!!!

BUT ......

WHY do I always hear a nagging about .co.in or NET.IN??? Yeah, I know the shorter - the better. At the beginning nobody could decide if .IN or CO.IN is better. Suddenly somebody screamed to the IT world - .IN IS the number one, CO.IN isn't that bad at all but will be not as great as .IN and as for .NET.IN - good to invest in the terms which gives you traffic, but nothing special.

The facts are:
- over 1 billion people
- 5% are internet users and the number is increasing every month
- potential market of 300 million and again the numbers are increasing!!!

So, if you have a look at these numbers that I borrowed from this forum, .IN cannot satisfy the growing number of internet users in India and around the world. Unless we go for: www-areyoulookingforagoodandcheaphotelindelhi-IN. Well, not me.

If the numbers are really what they seem to be, than I cannot see why .co.in and ESPECIALLY .NET.IN should be underestimated???????
