I recently picked up an .in domain
![]() CommunityCollege.in Worldwide, the keywords "community college" has an extremely large search volume and there's a slew of PPC advertisers on Google (potentially lucrative?). It seems like there are some community colleges in India, but they are nowhere near as widespread as in Canada or the US as the concept of a community college system has just arrived in India in the past several years. If anybody knows more about the actual situation there, it will be very appreciated if you clued me in a bit more. Even if community colleges aren't as widespread in India as I initially thought, the domain still has lots of potential. Not only could more community colleges could open in India in the future, this domain could also attract traffic from Indian students looking to study abroad in Canada/US right now. I also feel that that this domain also has much global appeal. Since .in has no presence requirements, I could see the name being used by a US/Canadian "community college search" website or by a school itself. The name is also unique in the way that it could be used as a domain hack-of-sorts. There are people typing phrases like "Community college in California" or "community college in new york" into search engines and pages could be set up on this domain like "www.communitycollege.in/california" or "www.communitycollege.in/newyork" If any of you would give me your comments on the domain, I will appreciate it very much. Thanks!

This could easily be developed into a nice site, like you mentioned above. Using wordpress you simply create a category for each state, then make posts according to the city and list the community colleges in that city.
Undeveloped I don't think it's worth alot, but it is a nice domain. Dan |

IMHO "Community College" is not a used term in India. Its just College / University.
