Are there any plans to make idn.com.mx domains available? I know idn.es is available, but is there any news on whether mx will do the same?

Nic.mx has no plans to activate idn domains.

Not yet, first .mx, then IDNs, we may see IDNs in a year or two depending on crisis, .mx success with end users, IMHO.
