Registrar Lowered Price for .mx

For those that followed my other thread: 101domain was charging $99 to register .mx's in the sunrise. I email the company and whined a little and complained that nic.mx was charging $35.

As a result, they first lowered them to $59 and a 7% discount if over 10 names. Now they just sent me an email and have lowered the reg fee to $35. Bam!

I have to think I was instrumental in getting them to lower it -- i would like to think so anyway

sorry to dissapoint you, but nic.mx did set a price range for these sunrise domains.
registrars are not allowed to charge more than $35.

Oh i did not know that - but 101domain didn't either, because I was the one who sent them proof that nic.mx was charging $35, of which they were unaware - either way I'm happy with 50 .com.mx to register

nic.mx just send this to the registrars two days ago.

btw. 35$ is the max. they are allowed to charge you.
let's see if other registrars will also charge the maximium...
