SIDN has recently started receiving fresh complaints from registrars and registrants about a business called GT@P, whose activities previously attracted adverse comment in 2007.

GT@P approaches .nl registrants and urges them to have their domain names listed in the WorldWideWeb Register, so that the register remains up to date.

The cost of this listing service, which is hidden in the small print of the contract, is €957 per edition of the register. The contract covers three editions, so the total cost amounts to €2,871.
