Default Reported .nl sales

Some .nl sales that were reported in the past few weeks:

Sexcamera.nl € 32.500
Mobieletelefoon.nl (Mobile phone) € 13.000 (sold by my businesspartner and me)
Blackcard.nl € 2.975
Mobielinternet.nl (Mobile internet) € 2.000
Belang.nl (Importance) € 1.500
Sarasin.nl € 1.500
Tassenshop.nl (Bag shop) € 1.350
Xine.nl $ 1,000
Kleertjesmarkt.nl (Clothing market, sort off ) € 850
Vanmorgen.nl (This morning) € 750
Mothers.nl € 750

I'll try to keep posting more .nl sales in the future, but - as mentioned by others - 80-90% of all .nl sales are unreported transactions.

The biggest sale ever reported was vakantie.nl (holiday) voor € 2.500.000

lll.nl enduser prices are between 4-10k (ressel 500 euro-1000 euro)
ll.nl enduser prices are 15K+ (ressel 3,5k+)

These are prices for good combinations, without x,y,q etc.

Very interesting, thank you.

OT

In Poland lll.pl for endusers go for 1-2k EUR and resell for 100-200 EUR.
ll.pl for endusers go for 10k EUR and resell for 3-4k EUR.

Well, it depends on how bad you want to sell them.
I know people who are selling good lll.nl's for ***8364; 2k to endusers, but those people go for a quick profit on their investment.

We own about 300 good lll.nl's and we never sell for less then ***8364; 4k but sometimes more (we sold aed.nl for ***8364; 25.500).

We get around 3 to 5 price requests per week for our lll.nl's, but we only come to an agreement 10-15 times a year or so for these names.
If we would be willing to sell for ***8364; 2k, we would probably sell 30-40 a year.

We also own 8 ll.nl's, and the highest offer so far was ***8364; 10k, but we never sold one so far.

But we do notice a huge difference between 4-5 years ago and now. More and more endusers start realising that a LL, LLL or generic domain is very valuable for their business, so we expect the enduser prices to raise in the coming years.

The .nl is a very strong extention, and the economy is one of the strongest in Europe.
I would guess that the .nl market is 2-3 years behind the .com market, so domainsales will continu to rise.

It's the same in Poland. If you can wait for a good buyer, then you will get much better price.

That's a bit strange, because in Poland it is much easier to sell ll.pl for 3-4k EUR than lll.pl for 1k EUR..

Yes, but I think .nl will never cost anything near .com, because there's a big difference between those two markets. NL is 16.5 million population and US is 305 million and .com is used by whole world.

Of course.
We won't see a lot of 6 or 7 figure sales for .nl (all though they do happen every now and then), but what I meant was that the prices for .nl's will go up in comparison to today's prices.
5 figure sales will become a very common thing in the near future, to my expectation.
And since we own about 10.000 domains, that's good enough for us

Oh, yeah. You'll be fine, that's for sure I think all owners of good ccTLDs will be fine in the coming future

Could you please use the correct forum for your posts? This is about .nl and reported sales, and your domain is neither a .nl nor sold.

I think that's a good sale, if you realise that name (because of the letter quality) would probably have fetched €xx from a reseller. The so called "good quality" letters fetch a lot more, typically mid €xxx and up, up to solid five figure sales. When selling to endusers anything can happen but expect €x,xxx to be normal. BTW, some of the letters that are considered bad on English langage forums are very common in Dutch, like k, u, v and even j.

Thank you mvl for the answer, it was very helpful. Especially the list of letters that are common in Dutch. I thought that this "y" letter at the end of ezy.nl is not a common letter but as we see - there could be buyers for such domain names out there as well.

One small additional question: so which letters aren't nice in 3-letter .nl domains? y, x? Anything else?

Although I know of four figure sales for so called "bad letters", in general the q, x and y and to some extent the letter z are considered hard to sell.

NNN.nl is still an immature market, but they should go for mid-high xx to low x.xxx

Not bad at all. In Poland NNN.pl can be bought for 10-20 EUR and if you consider the renewal fee (around 10 EUR) then it's not a very good investment for now..

@mvl: small question, what do you think of 1NL1.com?

Here in the UK, there are similar hits: 1and1.com and 1car1.com already.

What is the value of 1nl1.com in Holland then?

Dank u wel!

In Spain are all taken. Mid-high xx to low xxx. There are exceptions: 007, 666, 888.
