Hi

I have owned some .ph names for a few years. Although I am in it for the long run, I had expected .ph to become more popular. But it seems that almost all Filipino companies still prefer .com.ph or .com.

I have seen some Filipino social/community sites using .ph, but still it seems to be overwhelmingly .com.ph.

Could anyone tell me how the situation is in the Philippines? Is .ph still unknown, or is .com.ph simply the preferred choice as in Mexico, where .com.mx is much more popular than .mx?

.com.ph is still the main as its the oldest ccTLD, but .ph is gaining
you could say they are even, but you really have to get both to secure your brand.

I believe people tend to prefer .com.ph because it's older .However,they both have a bright future as you said .

I suppose that importance of this thread as well as importance of that ccTLD depends on the region where such domain names can beb used and can be considered at all.
