Default .ph whois server

Does anyone know what the .ph whois server is?

It's not listed on iana, rwgusa or 101domain.

Cheers.

Search for a name at domains.ph then click on the "taken" link to see who owns it.

ok the ph whois server = whois.domreg.org.ph

Unfortunately it can only be accessed from domains.ph website. So, manual domain checking is required.

I found a better description at webhostingtalk.com. You can read the post below:

************************************************** *******

no whois service for .ph domains besides the following will work:

WhoIs Information

this is because the .ph registry whois server (whois.domreg.org.ph) is not accessible from the outside on port 43. Additionally, the root .ph whois server is not declared in whois.internic.net's records, nor is it in the records of your jwhois command line client.

if you are a partner (signup) you can access their SRS services to be able to whois directly, though theres not much documentation, you need to ask them where the documentation is.
