NASK opened up tests of the "pre-paid" system

On July 7th, 2009 NASK has opened up the testing platform for the new “pre-paid” Registry System for .PL.

All largest Registrars has already started their tests. The new Registry software is going to be tested together with Registrars for the next 2 months.

On September 28th, 2009 the new system goes life and the existing “post-paid” model is replaced with “pre-paid” model.

"Pre-paid" model should have a positive effect on the Registry-Registrar cooperation: faster accreditation process for the new Registrars, lower risk for both NASK and Registrars and better efficiency of the system.
