English .tw domains

Does anyone have experience with English .tw domains. Lots of great one-word .tw's that seem like a great catch but also makes me think that maybe this TLD is useful with Chinese domain names.

Thanks in advance to anyone with experience with this!

I think i have 1 all in,

WorldWideWeb.tw

Forgot all about it till you posted here,

Never seen many sales other than, Poker.tw $30,000, Webcam.tw $5000

So not to bad.

I actually have owned Poker.tw in the past (but unfortunately was not the one to sell it for 30K). Traffic is virtually zero. It's currently parked at Sedo and they say it had 7 hits in the last month, which may have been a few people looking it up as they came across this thread.

So you can imagine, in a country where gambling is so popular, if even Poker.tw gets no traffic then there is little hope for other generics. Maybe there is a reason they are still available

Hennie - I agree - I'm always skeptical when it seems that all the great domain names are available...usually means they aren't great domains names!

I have premium keywords in both ascci & idn and traffic in general is about zero.

Sold a few but not really good prices. Taiwan based domainers have said there is little interest from locals.

The one that does get traffic and makes a few dollars is Porn.com.tw - shows where Taiwanese interest lies.

Well, porn in almost any exentsion will have traffic and generate revenue.
I have a few .tw but no traffic to speak off

. I have domainer friends who are not in good shape in selling .tw. But the potential is obviously there.

I have a few .tw but no traffic to speak off __________________ ccTLD registration at domainer friendly prices .de €3.50 / .be € 5.0 / .co.uk €6.20 / .es €6.80 / .nl €6.20 many other good deals. .CM top level domains for Euro 70 per year.
