Default .co.uk domainname

hello,

i would like to have all comments (both possitive and negative) on my domain

" snowmaking.co.uk "

Cause of the steady global warming our future generation is going to experience the phenomenon "snow" ONLY from a MACHINE !!!!!!!!

By the way ,this domain is for sale !!!

I don't see much potential in this domain name but there are several companies that may be interested in buying this name. If snowmaking.co.uk has some traffic, then for sure it has value as well.

Does it get traffic? I checked on Sedo and it shows no statistics.

The main term in the niche is "snow machine" - there are 28 companies advertising against this search on Google UK. Build a site about making snow and all the different options for doing so, get it ranking (with traffic) and you should be able to attract some of those companies as advertisers down the road. On the downside, snow machines aren't expensive at the low end so it's not a very high margin business, but on the other hand huge machines for snow resorts are incredibly expensive.

If your site covers the whole range and treats each topic separately (i.e. snow for parties and other indoor events, indoor ski slopes, outdoor ski slopes etc.) then it should start to be seen as a useful resource.

Of course all of this requires real effort, but that's the way to add value to any non-obviously prime domain name. At least yours is generic rather than brandable!
