.us typein traffic?

Do .us domains get much typein traffic?

Are US companies actively using and promoting .us domains?

Most of the ads I've seen have pushed the .com domain in the US market, with the exception of clever word plays (delicio.us being an obvious one)

You will get a few .us that get good type in trafffic (i have over 700 and apart from the developed names, i hate to say i dont track traffic/revenue for those)

There are plenty of companies using .us, but all the big companies who, if used .us would make it more popular are mainly using .com

if you search around, lots of these companie own .us and either forward it, or develop it for another part of there business.

I've noticed many more pages indexed/added to google, so either sites are getting bigger or more sites are being built (only noticed as over 200,000,000 were added from the start of 08 i think, (i'll check later) those numbers dont mean a great deal, but shows somethings getting better.
