Default Nexus Requirements

I get asked about this daily,

So here is the nexus requirement info from nic.us

"Any US-based resident/ citizen, plus any organization/business in US, including local, federal and state government that acquires a bona fide existence in the United States can easily register the .US domain according to their desire. Additionally, the registrants must necessary meet one among these following requirements in order to be eligible for registering a .US domain.

1) The registrant of a .US domain must be permanent US citizen/resident. Or (ii) his/her main resident place should be within the US territories.

2) Any company or organization that is legally incorporated with one among the 50 U.S states, the District of Columbia, or any of the possessions or territories of U.S or (ii) organized or constituted remaining under the US laws, laws of the District of Columbia, or laws of any territories or possessions of the US.

3) Any company or organization (including state, local, or federal government of United States, or a political subdivision thereof) having a bona fide existence within the territories of the US.

Therefore, if you***8217;re an American citizen, domiciled in US, own your business that is incorporated within the US boundaries, or your organization or entity gains a ***8216;bona fide existence in United States of America, you can easily register a .US domain when required.

More info at www.nic.us official site.

I'll try and post more info on a way round these, (legal way of course) setting up your own company,
But i'll make sure it's all correct info before i post and see how far they go for a "bona Fide" presence

Stevie.

What about privacy services?
Shouldn't you be perfectly fine as long as the trustee is a US based company?

They dont allow privacy registrations (or proxy) has to be yourself or your company,

cannot be someone acting on your behalf if i understand it correctly.

Moniker offers privacy service.

Quote:
Domain Name XXXXXXXX.US
Registrant ID MONIKER123456
Registrant Name Moniker Privacy Services
Registrant Organization Moniker Privacy Services
Registrant Address1 20 SW 27th Ave.
Registrant Address2 Suite 201
Registrant City Pompano Beach
Registrant State/Province FL
Registrant Postal Code 33069
Registrant Country United States
So, my only dotUS domain is obviously registered to a US based comany. Am I fine with that?
