Some nice names there Alan.

Im not a huge .us investor but I have picked up more recently and they are performing well.

I think the .us space has a lot of room for growth it is not popular nw but after the .com space becomes to unaffordable for the average domainer to invest in the are going to eventually turn the .us equivalent

Tyrese.us is a nice name to have (same with any first name)

And the realestate names are good, easy to develop, ( iknow of a simple geo real estate listings script you could use, cheap aswell)

I am looking to expanding my portfolio for .us before the getting is really terrible and dot us I always senn your portfolio on the forums do you make any good revenue with .us domains once you develope them. I am just curious

To be honest i'm not much of the developer,

My main site (which looks horrible) is constructionworld.us which i have had for coming on 3yrs now, which makes more than all my names and site put together,( i dont think i've loggen into awstats for 8 months now, but posititve it still get well over 700 uniques per day)

And contractor.us does pretty well,

Move.us is ok, but having some troubles with the articles,

And currently setting up Aids.us / New.us and lots of visitcity.us names.

i'm not to bothered about building money making sites at this time, my offline job does not allow for it (not enought ime to learn)

getting there slowly but surely

Rick - I too was never a fan until late last year.

I picked up CheapRims.us - Put up a minisite and I out rank the .com version on Yahoo - Making $4-7 per day on adsense.

For some reason Yahoo love .us domains there are lots of .us names that appear to rank well in Yahoo.

Nice names.

Development could be the way to go. Develop them beyond your basic mini site. You could do a lot with your names....

I have also found lots of success with .us names and Yahoo ranking.

One of my sites StimulusCheck(dot)us is on the first page of Yahoo when you search for stimulus check or stimulus checks. Seems like Yahoo really gives strong rankings to developed .us sites.

Definitely a lot of value in buying strong keyword .us names and developing them.

Not just yahoo - which ranks ANY extension well if the keyword is there. Google is bringing a lot of us sites at the top of the first page, and in certain cases they outperform com equivalents - that really depends on the content, not the extension. Which is a clear indication that us names are underappreciated - not for big companies where name recognition is important, but for small -medium businesses who rely on search engines.
So my philosophy is simple - if you are in it not only for resale, but also develop sites and based in the US, this is your chance to stock up on good names - you can still hand reg good ones. Just today picked up an excellent hotels us name.
